BAAL TEA SIG is holding a one-day conference on the theme of Innovations in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) assessment.

The BAAL TEA SIG invites proposals for this event related to the main theme and covering one or more of the sub-themes below. (These sub-themes are intended to capture major areas of interest but are not intended as an exhaustive list. Proposals on other aspects of the main theme, Innovation in EAP Assessment, will also be considered).

  • Integrating EAP teaching with assessment
  • Assessment literacy training for teachers in EAP programmes
  • Language testing theory and EAP teaching practice
  • EAP program reform: integrating assessment in design, implementation, and program evaluation
